Voyager (CSE:VYGR), a crypto brokerage firm that provides retail and institutional investors with trading solutions, shared on Thursday that its token has been rebranded on Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange.

As we previously reported, Voyager is currently in the process of rebranding the recently acquired Ethos (ETHOS) to the Voyager Token (VGX). While the token’s name and logo have changed, the symbol is still BQX, which was the original Ethos symbol. This is due to Binance’s policy to not allow symbol changes after the initial listing.

Moving forward, ETHOS will be automatically swapped to VGX, without any changes to the smart contract or total supply. VGX will serve as a utility token for the crypto brokerage and its upcoming investment products, providing users with a variety of benefits.

Voyager is also now paying 5% on VGX (ETHOS) held on its app. Users who maintain a wallet balance of 2,000 tokens over the course of each month will be eligible to earn interest on their holdings. The VGX interest program will run through the end of January 2020.

News of the Binance rebrand comes the same week that Voyager was listed on the OTCQB Market in the United States under the symbol VYGVF.

US investors looking to trade VGX commission-free and earn $25 in free BTC can sign up for the Voyager app through this link (or use code: SLUDGE25).
