Voyager Raises Its Bitcoin (BTC) Interest Rate to 5% for February


Crypto brokerage firm Voyager (CSE:VYGR) has published the interest rates it will be paying for select cryptocurrencies held on its commission-free trading app for the month of February.

According to the recent announcement, Voyager will start paying interest on its three newly listed stablecoins, with 6% annual interest for holding USD Coin (USDC) and 4% for Tether (USDT) and True USD (TUSD). Additionally, the exchange has increased the interest rate for Bitcoin (BTC) from 3% to 5%.


To participate in the Voyager Interest Program, app users need only hold the minimum balance for the given asset. Accrued interest is paid out at the beginning of the next month.
