During its initial launch, Toshi stood as the world’s first mobile decentralized application (DApps) browser before becoming the first digital asset wallet to launch cryptocurrency collectibles. The Coinbase Wallet is now set to provide best-in-class secure storage capabilities through guarding mobile device’s Secure Enclave and biometric authentication technology.
Users will have access to leading decentralized exchanges and relayers, which allows the purchase and selling of tokens without geographical borders or fees. A diverse range of third-party DApps will be available, including some that even allow users to earn cryptocurrency by completing tasks, performing services, or answering survey-like questions.
The Toshi app will automatically upgrade to Coinbase Wallet shortly, though no official release date has been specified.
