NEO Launches $30K Creative Design Competition to Boost Brand


NEO (NEO), a blockchain platform for smart contracts often referred to as the Ethereum of China, has launched a creative design competition, incentivizing designers with $30,000 in rewards to revamp the project’s website and icon.

According to the competition’s webpage, there will be two reward tracks for both the website and icon designs. Each track has first through third place prizes that range from $5,800 to $1,000 paid out in NEO’s GAS. There is also a nominee reward that pays out $150 weekly to five contestants total in each track.

Ultimately, NEO is looking to expand the reach of its community and more effectively communicate within the blockchain industry. NEO has asked that designers keep the  “Smart Economy” at the heart of their designs.

This rebranding comes as the project gears up to launch its much-anticipated version 3.0 platform update, which is designed to address key technical areas to support the platform at scale.

NEO is currently ranked 14th in the AltDex 100 Index (ALT100), a benchmark index for large-cap cryptocurrencies and tokens.
