According to the announcement, the iOS launch comes after Kinit saw more than more than 15,000 Android downloads in just a month. The app is ultimately designed to introduce the KIN cryptocurrency to everyday users, allowing them to convert their earned digital currencies to gift cards from major retailers, including Amazon, AMC Theaters and Google Play.
This news comes just days after we reported that the Kin blockchain had recently surpassed the daily active users of all the decentralized applications (DApps) on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain. According to data found within the Kin Explorer, which monitors user activity and transactions on the Kin blockchain, there were 8,364 active users on the Kin blockchain at that time, in comparison to the 7,700 active users found on all Ethereum DApps. Ethereum has since retaken Kin with 15,600 users over the last 24 hours.
