Huobi Group, owner of the third largest cryptocurrency exchange by¬†trading volume, has announced the launch of the ‘Huobi Cloud,’ a new platform specifically designed for Huobi’s partners that simplifies the process of launching a digital asset exchange.

According to a statement shared with SludgeFeed, Huobi partners can now easily set up OTC and digital currency exchanges that tap into multiple Huobi platform systems, including order integration, wallet, asset management and clearing systems.

Starting off, Huobi plans to offer four major platform services to its partners, including exchange solutions, OTC solutions, operational solutions and eco-system solutions.

Through the Huobi exchange solutions, partners will be able to leverage the underlying technology of Huobi.pro, which includes share trading depth, liquidity data, and numerous other features for 154 different digital assets.

Huobi’s OTC solution is designed to meet KYC standards across the globe, providing exchanges with a robust transaction process design and merchant certification. This system supports various fiat currencies including USD and HKD, as well as major digital assets such as BTC and USDT.

In a statement,¬†Leon Li, Chairman of Huobi Group, shared the driving force behind the company’s decision to build out its platform-as-a-service ecosystem.

In the past five years, Huobi has accumulated rich and valuable R&D, security, compliance and operational experience through its digital asset trading platforms. In this era of significant and strong adoption of blockchain technologies, Huobi is looking to share its expertise and experience with the entire blockchain ecosystem and through this, develop the industry further to achieve mutual benefits for all stakeholders.

Huobi reportedly has 10 early adopter partners that are eligible to leverage the Cloud platform, including International Finance Corporation, an international financial institution that offers investment, advisory, and asset-management services.

This news comes shortly after Huobi announced that HBUS, a digital currency exchange designed for United States investors and strategic partner of Huobi, went live with 22 different trading pairs now available for trading.
