GoChain (GO) Partners With Chainlink (LINK) to Provide Data Access

GoChain (GO), a blockchain platform that claims 1,300 transactions per second, announced this week that it has partnered with Chainlink (LINK), a decentralized oracle network, to leverage the project’s real-world data for its network.

According to the announcement, GoChain will be working closely with the Chainlink team to provide oracle services to enterprises using GoChain. The project’s Proof-of-Reputation (PoR) consensus algorithm relies on reputable validators, making enterprises ideal candidates to join the network.

The new collaboration between GoChain and Chainlink should add further value to the growing pool of enterprises, which now includes Dish Network (DISH), by amplifying network use-cases.

“Oracles provide the missing link in smart contracts which is getting outside data to affect what happens on chain,” said GoChain CTO and co-founder Travis Reeder. “Without being able to use outside data, smart contracts are very limited in what they can do. Chainlink’s oracle network enables this in the best way possible by also being an unstoppable decentralized network.”
