Ethereum and EOS See All-Time High DApp Traffic

The decentralized application (dApp) activity across the Ethereum (ETH) and EOS (EOS) networks recently hit an all-time, with more than 65,000 active users on Tuesday.
According to a recent post by Kevin Rook, a cryptoanalyst that is active on Twitter, more than 51,000 and 15,000 users were active on dApps on the Ethereum and EOS networks, respectively.
There were over 65,000 active users on ETH and EOS dApps today, a new all-time high for dApp traffic

As Rooke points out, roughly 70% of this activity was in gambling-related dApps. A review of DappRadar, the source of Rooke’s data, shows that the majority of this traffic is found in EOS-based gambling games, including BetDice and EOSBet.
For the Ethereum blockchain, the majority of traffic is still driven by the two major decentralized exchanges (DEXs), IDEX and ForkDelta.
The two largest blockchain games by daily active users are HyperDragons for Ethereum with 592 and EOSKnights for EOS with 1,841.
ETH currently has a $23 billion market cap, while EOS is currently valued at $5.3 billion, making the currencies the 2nd and 5th largest in the AltDex 100 Index (ALT100), respectively, a benchmark index for large-cap cryptocurrencies and tokens.
