The battle for digital game distribution dominance is now in full swing, as new entrants including Discord and Epic Games look to take users from Steam.

On Wednesday, the Epic Games store scored its biggest win to date, landing Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.

According to the announcement,¬†the PC version of the¬†open-world online shooter is now available for pre-order on the¬†Epic Games Store. All pre-orders at this time guarantee access to the game’s upcoming Private Beta.

“We entrust Epic to deliver a smooth journey for our fans, from preordering the game and enjoying our Beta to the launch of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 on March 15,” said Chris Early, Ubisoft’s VP of Partnerships. “Epic continues to disrupt the videogame industry, and their third-party digital distribution model is the latest example, and something Ubisoft wants to support.”

The game will be released on March 15 on Xbox One X, PS4 and Windows PC, and the PC version will only be available from the Epic Games and Ubisoft stores. The companies plan to partner on additional select titles that will be announced during the coming year.

This partnership comes less than two weeks after Epic Games announced a partnership with Team Meat to offer¬†Super Meat Boy¬†for free in the Epic Games store. Based on the early evidence, it looks like publishers are beginning to flock to Epic Games’¬†generous 88% revenue share.
