Enjin (ENJ) Partners With CoinSwitch to Build a Crypto Payment Gateway for Unity

Enjin (ENJ), a blockchain project building a decentralized ecosystem for gaming, recently announced a partnership with CoinSwitch, a crypto exchange aggregator.

According to the announcement, Enjin Wallet users can use CoinSwitch to swap 300+ coins from 45,000+ available trading pairs without leaving the app. Additionally, CoinSwitch has announced plans to build an in-game cryptocurrency payment gateway for the widely popular game engine Unity.

With the payment gateway, CoinSwitch will automatically convert cryptocurrencies into Enjin Coin (ENJ), which can be used to create decentralized assets with the Enjin Platform and Blockchain SDK for Unity, such as in-game currency, characters, weapons and accessories.

“CoinSwitch is an extremely innovative company that has successfully created one of the industry’s most robust cryptocurrency trading platforms,” said Maxim Blagov, Enjin CEO. “We are working together to provide increased utility for all of the cryptocurrencies they support, meanwhile further streamlining the adoption process for the increasing numbers of developers jumping onto the Enjin Platform. ”

This news comes less than a month after Enjin added blockchain asset support, allowing users to search, browse and verify next-generation ERC-1155 assets and transactions directly on its universal blockchain explorer, EnjinX. Enjin Coin was also recently announced as part of the initial constituents in the AltDex Blockchain Gaming Index (ALTGME), a crypto index that focuses on coins and tokens directly related to blockchain gaming.

ENJ is currently up 0.6% on the day to $0.150982, giving the altcoin a $109 million market cap.
