Good Boy: Dogecoin (DOGE) and Huobi Team up for Charity
Dogecoin (DOGE), the popular meme-based cryptocurrency, and Huobi, Huobi Global’s U.S. crypto exchange, have teamed up to raise money for Grateful Dogs Rescue, a dog rescue and shelter organization in San Francisco.
The promised #dogecoin4charity promotion is here! With the @dogecoin team, we’ll be awarding 1 DOGE for every Huobi sign-up and L1 Verification! Huobi will donate 1,000 DOGE for every verified sign-up to @GratefulDogsSF. Remember, 1 DOGE = 1 DOGE! https://t.co/XqEjW7yFWP pic.twitter.com/ySBGPl745E

According to a press release shared with us, Huobi is giving away 1 DOGE to every user who passes Level 1 Customer Verification during the promotion. For each registered user, HBUS will be donating 1,000 DOGE to the rescue, up to $5,000.
“Dogecoin has become the darling of the cryptocurrency community with an impressive market cap that currently exceeds $350 million USD,” said Frank Fu, the CEO of Huobi.com operator HBUS. “We are excited to support projects that have such widespread appeal, and we will continue to aggressively expand our token variety.”
This news comes just over a week after Huobi listed Dogecoin with BTC, ETH, and USDT pairs — and it has quickly become one of the most traded coins on the platform.
Dogecoin’s lead developer Max Keller said, “We are happy to celebrate the launch of Dogecoin on Huobi.com. We’re especially pleased with their support of a good cause, which aligns with the Dogecoin community’s strong commitment to charity.”
