Crypto Week in Review 3/23/2018: Large Enterprises Dominate the News Cycle

While it’s impossible to predict the direction of the cryptocurrency markets week to week, one clear trend is beginning to emerge: the involvement of large enterprises as driving factor in the news cycle. In just one week, Microsoft, Twitter, Google¬†and IBM all made breaking news for taking some form of action related to cryptocurrency or blockchain technology. These large enterprises have identified that this movement is not going anywhere, and the smart ones are beginning to incorporate these technologies into their products.

Unfortunately, any piece of negative press always seems to cancel out the mostly positive news as the markets are primed to react in a knee-jerk fashion. This period of price consolidation is certainly building up to a big move, up or down.
