CRYPTO.com (MCO), the cryptocurrency platform formerly known as Monaco, announced last week that it has launched a closed-beta of MCO Crypto Invest, a new in-app feature that allows users to gain access to 20 different digital currencies via three portfolios custom-tailored to investor risk preference.

According to the announcement, the new feature will allow users to start buying crypto directly on the MCO wallet app, starting with as little as $20. There will be no fees associated with purchases and users can exit positions instantly, at any time without penalty.
Instead, the company states that a small fee will be collected when the value of a user’s portfolio has grown greater than its initial value. While the total percentage fee has not yet been disclosed, CRYPTO.com notes that MCO token holders will benefit from a 50% discount on all fees.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, Kris Marszalek, the co-founder and CEO of CRYPTO.com, shared that he believes the new feature will drastically lower the barrier to entry for crypto investing.
We created MCO Crypto Invest to break down the barriers to developing cryptocurrency portfolios. We’re giving users a way to build and maintain a diversified exposure to cryptocurrency, and to do so in line with their preferences and attitudes towards risk. This, coupled with our best-practice expertise in cryptocurrency trading, has allowed us to create the cryptocurrency portfolios for our customers.
